Self-proclaimed Pastor and founder of Glorious Wave Church, Emmanuel Badu Kobi has rained insults on President Akufo-Addo for deceiving Ghanaians and the church behind a slogan, "The Battle is the Lords", and turn around to tax the church.
Vociferous Prophet Badu Kobi slammed the President for proposing taxes and questioned his intelligence.
According to the Prophet, the NPP in their 2016 manifesto said only laziness people rely on taxes to develop a nation, so how will they turn around to tax the church. The Prophet insinuated that the government is envious of the men of God.
Badu Kobi further queried President Akufo-Addo, if he's a fool to feel happy taxing the church. If they are coerced to pay, he promised they will add curses to the tax.
He further revealed that, instead of the government to channel their strength in recovering the 610 million from the collapsed bank, they are rather indulging in foolishness, he thus, threatened to expose them Sunday, because he ain't afraid of anybody in Ghana.
Meanwhile, the so-called prophet has failed to read from his own bible that, Apostle Paul urges the church to pay taxes.
For this same reason you pay taxes, for [the civil authorities] are official servants under God, devoting themselves to attending to this very service. Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due (Romans 13:6-7 AMP).
